2. When you contract directly with the agent-the agent has no legal responsibilities for insurance. Do you exclusively represent any artists on your roster?
VIP Booking Agency, A Grabow Company is not the exclusive agent or management of any of the artists included on our roster. We position ourselves to be the agent for the buyer. We concentrate our efforts only on the serious inquiries of talent buyers for corporate or private events. The clear advantage is that we act as your entertainment contractor and producer, negotiating on your behalf for booking for your private and corporate events. We can provide corporate entertainers, speakers, sports celebrities, comedians and magicians to make your Corporate or Private Event successful and memorable.

What kind of events do you mainly provide entertainment for?
We provide entertainment for corporate and private events around the world. This could include: corporate sales meeting, Corporate Fundraiser, Grand Opening, Anniversary , Incentive Meeting, Awards Gala, Corporate Meetings, Business Meetings, Special Events , Event Productions , Fundraising Galas as well as Private Parties.
How much time before the event can a speaker or entertainer are contracted?
The answer to the questions has changed over time because communications have made it easier to make the process very fluid. Entertainers may be contracted as far in advance as one year. There are no specific time guidelines on this…if the date is plausible and an artist is available and willing to perform on the date, (with an Act of God only out clause) we can sign contracts with deposits for a show a week later. Yes, Grabow has contract speakers and entertainment as close in to an event as a week or less.
What is the process?
The process is hopefully the easy part for you the buyer. Once you have decided on the date, venue, and determined a general budget for the talent, (this is vital to a successful process) - please contact us by e-mail or fill out our online form here. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and budget, or suggest alternatives that will work for the type of entertainment that you want. Please feel free to use our website to gather information and ideas for talent and speakers. If there is a speaker or talent you do not see on the website, please let us know and we can help you with whomever it is you wish to use at your event.
When we have the information as to your date/budget/goals we will call you to discuss how best to proceed. Our first goal is to determine a short list of talent or speakers that fit your budget and objectives. Grabow will then proceed to develop the costs for your approval to present an offer to your first choice. Our goal is to use our more thanyears experience to your favor in contracting the best talent for your event at the most effective cost.
Is there an upfront fee to using your services?
There is no upfront fee to using our services; (unless there is a mutual agreement between both parties). Gabo will invoice you when the speaker/ entertainment is confirmed.
Is a deposit required?
The deposit payment is due upfront, when the talent is confirmed, and the final payment is due prior to the event.

What is a rider for an artist?
The rider is a detailed document with the specific requirements for sound, lighting, band equipment, staging, catering, security, lodging, insurance and more. Some riders can be from 1 page...to 40 pages (which give Grabow a great value to the process in modifications to your specific event).
What is a turnkey event?
A turnkey event is one in which all the necessary preparations for an event will be handled which may include a producer going on-site and taking care of the details of the event (hotel, transportation, catering, etc.)
How much of the event preparations/arrangements do you handle?
Grabow assists you in the selection of the talent, the contracting of the talent and the production of your event. The elements of booking an event are the on-site production, flights, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, staging, sound, lighting, electrical, catering and pretty much everything that the artist and purchaser have agreed to in the artist's rider.
